Dr. Michael Hartmann, D.M.D

Dr. Michael Hartmann is a dedicated pediatric dentist at Colorado Kids Pediatric Dentistry, where he proudly serves children and families throughout the South Denver community. He is passionate about creating positive dental experiences that help children develop healthy habits and build confident smiles that last a lifetime.

Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr. Hartmann earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Brigham Young University–Hawaii, graduating summa cum laude. He then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, he completed the Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry residency program through NYU Langone Hospitals, where he received specialized training in caring for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs.

Dr. Hartmann spent the last six years practicing pediatric dentistry in Arizona before relocating to Colorado. Drawn by Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle and tight-knit communities, he and his wife are excited to raise their family here and serve the families of South Denver.

As a father of three, Dr. Hartmann understands the importance of helping children feel comfortable, safe, and cared for during every dental visit. He enjoys partnering with parents to provide compassionate, personalized care that supports each child’s oral health and overall well-being. Fluent in Spanish, he enjoys connecting with families from a variety of backgrounds, and he is active in volunteer service and community outreach, reflecting his commitment to making quality dental care welcoming and accessible for every child.

Dr. Hartmann enjoys spending time with his wife and children, mountain biking, playing basketball, exploring Colorado’s beautiful outdoors, and discovering new local restaurants. He always welcomes recommendations for favorite local spots!
